MaCom develops modules and macros that expand the functionality of Microsoft Project to fit the company's needs.
Macros can be used for creating automated series of simultaneous actions that are used often in MS Project.
Modules are developed to add new features to MS Project.
In relation to the implementation of multiple projects management in a large Danish industrial company, the following two modules were developed:
- A workgroup module which gives the option to report through e-mail what percentage of the work has been completed.
- A multiple projects module which makes it possible to assign the properties of several projects to one main project.
