MaCom offers course material for both the Danish and the English version of Microsoft Project.
MaCom has developed a basic course material for Microsoft Project. The material is available for both the English and the Danish version of MS Project. Besides using the course material in our own courses, MaCom gives companies the opportunity to buy a license for using the material. A license entitles the company to make an unlimited number of copies for internal use. With a license the company can offer all employees to become familiar with MS Project at an extremely reasonable price.
The Microsoft Project basic course material includes the following topics:
Introduction
The participant will in theory and in practice be introduced to the use of MS Project as a tool for managing projects.
User Interface
Introduction to Tables, Filters, Views, Reports, View panel and Forms.
Linking Tasks
Exercises in linking tasks.
Case - A documentary program
The participants work on a fictive project where they experience project controlling with MS Project in practice.
The course participants own project
The participants work together in defining a project and afterwards use MS Project to handle it.
Start up parameters
Configuration of MS Project by project type and project critical factors.
Critical areas
Through practical exercises there will be focus on the critical areas when working with MS Project.
Calendars
Configuration and use of calendars.
Tracking
Tracking on tasks and adjustment of the project plan in relation to time and resources.
Best Practice
Revision on important parameter settings that are to be configured before the start of the project plan.
