Features

Lectio keeps track of the difference between the number of lessons planned and lessons held. Additionally Lectio effectively handles the continuing changes to the schedule.

Some highlights of Lectio's features:

  • Fulfills legal requirement for keeping track of held lessons to ensure that every class is given the number of lessons which they are entitled to.
  • The administration will be able to save a considerable amount of time currently used on managing changes in the schedule.
  • A teacher can at any given time see how many lessons are left for a class to finish the curriculum in.
  • The teachers will in practice be able to exchange lessons, because the system easily provides a quick overview of which teachers that are available in any particular module.
  • The teachers get increased scope and flexibility in the planning of their time-off.
  • It is possible to avoid errors in the planned schedule, and thereby avoid the present extensive introduction period for the schedule.
  • Both teachers and pupils can access the system via the internet from home or at school and see their own schedule for a particular week including the changes to the schedule there might have been. Thereby it is always possible to see the latest update of the schedule.
  • Classrooms can be booked from home, and classroom schedules can be printed to see in which extend they are being used.
  • Parents and pupils have more influence, because they can check if the pupils have received the lessons which they are entitled to.
  • Pupils can in collaboration with their teacher agree on altering the schedule. They could for example agree on moving their lesson to another module than originally planned.
